Who Qualifies?

Out-of-state students who live in a bordering state or meet the following criteria may receive in-state tuition rates.

Bordering states

  • Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma,
    Tennessee, or Texas resident
  • Cumulative high school GPA of 2.0 or
    higher
  • Meet the admission requirements

Other states

  • Enroll with and maintain a 2.25 GPA
    throughout the college coursework
  • One of the following criteria is met:
  • U.S. resident
  • Have an appropriate visa
  • Reside in the state for 3 years AND have
    either an in-state high school diploma or
    high school equivalency diploma (GED)
